This Sunday, June 5th at 8PM (Doors at 6PM), I will be sharing a bill with two of the best vocalists of my generation, Abby Dobson and Gregory Porter…it’s going down! The show is at the Highline Ballroom and is presented by the Blue Note Jazz Festival. The Legendary Blue Note is celebrating its 30th Anniversary by rolling out their first ever month long jazz festival. I count it an honor to play a part in such an amazing event, which runs the entire month of June in venues all over NYC featuring performances by Chaka Khan, Kathleen Battle, Bobby McFerrin, Nancy Wilson, Dave Brubeck and many more…www.bluenotejazzfestival.com

I am super late, but I did not want to bug you until I had some good stuff to share…alas I do!

Talib Kweli’s amazing new album dropping 1/25/11

Hey fam!

I do not have much to say…I just wanted to wish you all a very happy NEW YEAR!!!!

One more thing:
On January 25th go pick up the latest album from hip hop journeyman Talib Kweli entitled Gutter Rainbows. I am featured on a track (which I co-wrote) called “Wait 4 U” and singing background vocals on several others. The album is crazy and his first independent offering in sometime. Go get that!!!!
